We strongly suggest every Fitness Forward client should have at least one private meeting with a qualified, educated trainer before they start a group exercise program.

  • Private training appointments are all about YOU!
  • We will develop a personalized workout program based on your health history, past exercise routine, posture assessment, body composition test and of course your health/wellness/fitness goals.
  • We can create a workout program with basic strength, core work, stability ball exercises, functional strength movements, sport specific training, Pilates Mat and even Yoga training!
  • Personal training is perfect for setting up a program to follow monthly or meet weekly.

Small Group Personal Training:  groups of 2-3 people

Small groups of three people are available for personal training for a discounted rate.  Contact trainer for openings for ongoing monthly sessions for two or more times a week for groups of three clients.  Sign up for the pre-pay plan for discounted rates for small group personal training 2-3 times per week.

Private training:  individual personalized training plans  for one person in a private studio

Group training:  groups of three to four in a private studio, pre-pay for monthly sessions

Metabolic Fitness Testing: call for more details and to set appointment
  • Resting Metabolic Rate, body composition test and circumferences
  • Exercise Metabolism Test on a treadmill, body composition, circumferences and consultation
Coaching program:  running races, cycling or triathlon events.
  • Run Coaching Program: $150/month (Four month commitment)
  • Triathlon Coaching Program: $200/month (Four month commitment)
  • Weekly run interval workouts, Wednesday 5:00 p.m.- 6:30 p.m. – $50 per month
  • Weekly tempo run hill/trail workouts, Fridays 8:30 a.m.-9:45 a.m. – $50 per month
Cancellation and Rescheduling Policies:
  • Pre-Pay for scheduled personal training sessions at beginning of each month for discounted rates
  • A “48” hour cancellation policy”
  • If you cancel your scheduled training session with 48 hours or more notice, you will be allowed to make-up your training session as our combined schedule allows.
  • If you do cancel within 48 hours of your scheduled training session, you will be charged for your training time.
  • Please be on time to your appointment.  Call, text or email if you are going to be late.

Debbie Potts has been in the fitness industry since 1993 at Western Washington University where she studied exercise science and managed the campus fitness & wellness center.  Debbie since then has managed the Highline YMCA, Bellevue Club and started her own fitness business Fitness Forward.  Debbie is experienced and trained in a variety of fitness disciplines including functional strength training, prehab/rehab, STOTT Pilates mat, Yoga Fit, TRX Suspension training and USAT coaching.  Debbie focuses on creating programs for clients based on their needs, goals and posture assessments.  Form, alignment and correct muscle activation is key to re-alignment the body.  Learn how to activate your core and use your body correctly in daily movements.  Try Debbie’s triathlon and run coaching program to help reach a new fitness goal!

Leah Worthen Leah is an American College of Sports Medicine certified personal trainer and has been a TRX class instructor at Fitness Forward since September 2010. Leah moved to Bellevue from Oregon after graduating from the University of Oregon, where she captained her Duck womens track team to a 2009 Pac10 championship. She worked as an assistant sprints and hurdles coach at the University of Washington for the 2010 and 2011 seasons, and has USA Track & Field Level I coaching credentials.  Leah has worked with athletes of all ages in both team and individual sports. She specializes in speed and power development, while incorporating strength and cardio components into her workouts. Challenging footwork and movement drills will improve performance in all athletic activities.

Leah grew up in Coos Bay, Oregon, home of the legendary Steve Prefontaine. She enjoys taking TRX classes at Fitness Forward, and lots of Northwest activities like hiking, gardening, and devoting herself to her two Swiss mountain dogs Sierra and Vader. She is excited to marry Seahawk center Max Unger in July 2012!

Leah leads Fitness Forward workouts Wednesdays at 8:30am, and MW at 5:10pm and 6:10pm. She is also available for private training on weekdays and some Saturdays. Take your fitness and athleticism to the next level!

Jason Balajadia: Jason Balajadia started his journey in the fitness industry in 1999.  In that time he has seen fads come and go.  The biggest truth Jason has learned is that nothing beats hard work and a sensible diet.  He has a “train for life” philosophy.  He wants his clients to be able to do the things they enjoy most in life whether it’s hiking, snowboarding, cross-county skiing, mountain biking, working in the garden or just walking the dog.  You should feel good, as well as strong while doing it.  Jason is an avid snowboarder and mountain biker.  He specializes in sport specific training, weight loss management,
and core/stability training.  Jason is available for personal training by appointment only.

Jason’s Personal Training rates:

Private training: 45 min sessions $65 plus sales tax

Group of 2-3 people:  45 minutes = $40 each person plus sales tax
