Power Stretch: Yoga-Pilates fusion practice: Various styles of Hatha Yoga are combined in the power Yoga flow classes. Each class size is limited to six people so the instruct may lead a yoga class based on the needs of the participants as well as assist each participant in each pose. The powerful style of Vinyasa flow yoga connects the mind to the body with the breath linking the two together as we flow into the poses. As the body gets warmer through the Vinyasa flow, the joints will become more open and muscles are able to lengthen. The alignment of the body is improved as every muscle we are lengthening; the opposing muscles need to be contracting! A regular yoga practice is beneficial for all fitness levels and experience. Learn how to work in the present moment, be more mindful and aware of yourself. Some classes may incorporate Pilates mat exercises as well as using the foam rollers, the BOSU and stability balls.
