Fitness Forward offers a training program and organized weekend of events for the Carlsbad, California, Vancouver, B.C., and the Victoria, B.C. half or full marathon each year. The program fee includes an online training schedule created by your coach/trainer Debbie Potts. The schedule and coaching support will get you ready and prepared to walk, walk/jog or run a full (26.2 miles) marathon or half (13.1 miles) marathon on race day! Can you run or walk five miles now? Start building your base to start the training program. Locate the web site for the specific race for information and to register for the race to get committed! We give you the training program and then you go enjoy a fit vacation with your family and friends!

The Race Get-Away Weekend program fee includes:
- Monthly training schedule (check-in weekly on-line)
- Discount on the weekly Wednesday 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. workouts at Bellevue Track or Fridays 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Kelsey Creek Park. Group long runs on Sundays.

Boston Marathon Race Weekend
Do you want to qualify for the Boston Marathon? Sign up to train with Debbie’s run group and qualify for the Boston Marathon then she will guide you in Boston for the marathon weekend! Debbie’s monthly training schedule, group workout and educational articles will get you faster! If you have completed a few marathons already and have not improved your time, then meet with Debbie to create a specific training schedule designed to get you running at your “goal race pace” and correct heart rate zones. The group will be able to meet for a pre-race dinner on Sunday early evening to review last minute race details. Debbie will help you with the logistics in Boston on race weekend, guide you through the largest running race expo and packet pick up. The group will meet for at the bus pick up at the Boston Commons and prepare for the marathon at the start line! We will celebrate our Boston Marathon finish with dinner in the famous “Little Italy” on the Monday after the race.
