As the owner and creator of Fitness Forward, I have always made an annual commitment to continue my education in the all areas of the fitness industry each year.

Debbie’s fitness goals for the 2011-2012

  • TRX Suspension Training certification & TRX Rip Trainer. 2010, 2011
  • Shakti Yoga Advanced Assistant training, January 30-31, 2010
  • Continuing Education Anatomy series and workshops for Stott Pilates Mat, 2011
  • Stott Pilates Training workshops at Body Center Studios, Seattle, 2010-2011
  • Four day IDEA World Fitness Convention (2010-)
  • Mark Allen Online Triathlon team member (national team, 10h year)
  • Stott Pilates reformer certification program (future).
  • USA Triathlon certified level one coach, continuing educations (annual).
  • Goal to get USA Triathlon Level two and USA Cycling level one certification

Debbie’s Personal 2012 Race Plan:

  • January: Carlsbad half marathon
  • March:  Mercer Island half marathon
  • April: Boston Marathon
  • May: Vancouver half marathon (Client trip) and local cycling events
  • June: Honu Half Ironman Triathlon and local events.  Local 50k
  • July: Hagg Lake Triathlon and other local events.  Mt. Hood 50 miler (support)
  • August: Ironman Canada and local triathlons plus running events
  • September: Super Jock-n-Jill Half marathon (with clients)
  • October: Victoria Marathon weekend for clients.  Hawaii Ironman for Debbie (In 2010 Time of 10:34, 11th in AG)
  • November: Malibu Marathon, Seattle half marathon
  • December:  North Face 50k in San Francisco. Jingle Bell 5k run (annual race with clients)
